Responsibilities: • Conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to develop case strategies • Prepare for and attend court appearances • Draft correspondence and legal documents • Meet billing requirements • Acquire new cases • Be prepared to travel to neighboring counties if necessary • Assign tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and oversee their work • Provide guidance and motivation to team members Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should be fluent in both English and Spanish • A valid membership in the North Carolina State Bar in good standing is required • A minimum of two (2) years of legal experience as an attorney, with a preference for expertise in family law, is necessary • Demonstrated capacity to handle cases and clients independently after an orientation and monitoring period is essential • Strong communication, research, and writing skills are a must-have • Willingness to work diligently to ensure top-notch client service and results is required • A positive and uplifting attitude is highly valued • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are critical • Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed accurately on the first attempt is expected • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and promote a collaborative environment • A polite, educated, and comforting communication style with clients is essential • While skills and experience are important, personality, character, intelligence, and integrity are equally significant • Seeking individuals who are ready for challenges and desire recognition, appreciation, and rewards for their hard work and dedication Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000
