  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Senior Docket Clerk to join our Firm. This senior-level position can be based in our New York office. The Senior Docket Clerk will maintain the docket and calendar for various state and federal court cases.

     

    Hours:

    • New York: Noon – 8 PM ET

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate calendar entries for staff.
    • Docket and calendar documents using the Firm's calendar software.
    • Utilize various software systems and internal reports to onboard new client matters.
    • Prepare and issue calendar software reports.
    • Respond accurately and promptly to requests, maintaining a high-quality work product aligned with Firm values.
    • Stay current on Firm policies, industry trends, and professional development opportunities.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Comply with and understand Firm operations, policies, and procedures.
    • Perform other tasks as needed.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of conventional and electronic filings in various State and Federal courts.
    • Familiarity with Federal and State judicial rules.
    • Proficiency with calendar software.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate high-quality work product.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Experience managing cases through vendor systems such as PacerPro and PACER.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to delegate work effectively.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software.

     

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Minimum of five years of related experience.

     

  • Compensation
    $80,000-$95,000 per year
