Job Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President and CEO and working as part of the marketing and sales representative team, the Marketing and Sales Representative is responsible for the creation of long-term value for our company in the form of maintaining and building referrals from law firms through building and maintaining strong relationships with attorneys and legal staff. Building on the company’s long-standing tradition as the leading medical marketing company, this individual will be responsible for achieving growth within their territory in Beverly Hills, Century City, West LA, and Santa Monica. This position includes pursuing, cultivating, and establishing relationships with law firms.
The Marketing and Sales Representative must also be able to recruit new clients in the form of doctors working on a lien basis. The position also requires maintaining relationships with current doctor and medical professional clients as well.
This job is part time and will require you to work 3 days per week.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dynamic and energetic professional with strong sales and marketing aptitude
- Highly outgoing, friendly personality with an ability to easily build relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong self-starter with the ability to work with and without constant supervision
- Comfortable with in person cold calling new accounts and visiting long standing existing accounts
- Ability to manage, maintain, and develop existing law firm and doctor client portfolio
- Ability to work with little day to day direction, without direct supervision, and in a sales and marketing team working remotely throughout California
- Uphold the company ethics and values in all dealings
- Present the network in a concise, persuasive, and understandable manner
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and client issues and report findings to Management
- Meet account acquisition, referral and revenue growth targets
- Work in an outside, in person environment making a high volume of in-person sales and marketing calls each day. Spending large amounts of time driving between new and potential clients and very few days in a formal office environment
- Most driving will take place within the described territory but occasional attendance and participation in sales meetings, team work days, company functions, trade shows and legal seminars throughout Southern California are required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, communications or marketing
- Demonstrated successful sales and customer service experience
- Skill in prospecting strategies which demonstrates the ability to form relationships with decision makers at multiple levels within an organization
- Ability to build and manage a large portfolio of clients and prospects at any given time
- Ability to work in a solo and team environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,850.00 per month with the potential to come on full time down the line and receive additional pay and bonuses at that time.
