  • Responsibilities

    Description of Responsibilities:

    The Harvest documentation department collaborates closely with our clients to gather the necessary documents for completing valuations. As a Documentation Associate, your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of documents from clients to Harvest and to ensure that all documentation requirements are met.

    You will review documents to verify that they contain the required information and track the status of all outstanding documentation requests. You'll collaborate closely with the valuation team to ensure the timely delivery of client reports by following established protocols. This role includes analyzing data for accuracy, following up with clients on any incomplete document requests, and executing internal pricing procedures for alternative investments. Additionally, you will be responsible for researching various financial instruments and performing other duties as assigned.

    MUST RESIDE IN ILLINOIS - CHICAGOLAND AREA PREFERRED

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and managing documentation.
    • Ability to conduct thorough research.
    • Ability to interpret and summarize complex information from various sources.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet reporting deadlines.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client follow-ups and internal collaboration.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Proficiency in data analysis, research methodologies and document organization.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the research and valuation teams.

    Experience and Education Requirements:

    • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a paralegal studies, business administration, political science, economics, liberal arts or a related field.
    • Preferred 2-5 years of experience in research, documentation review, legal analysis, medical research or related work.
    • Experience working with complex legal or financial documents is a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks.
    • Frequent use of computer, keyboard and office equipment.

    • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions to maintain focus and accuracy.
    • Reliable high-speed internet connection to support secure document processing and collaboration.
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Strong self-discipline and time management skills to work independently and efficiently.
    • Comfortable using remote communication tools (e.g. email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) for collaboration.
