Who we are: Scenthound is a dog wellness & grooming concept, our goal is to keep dogs clean and healthy. We provide routine hygiene and wellness care, so dogs can live a longer, happier, & comfortable life! Our services include bath, nail clip, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, haircuts, and more.

About the Position:

The Dog Bather is a fundamental position at Scenthound, offering quick and efficient services to dogs in a fast-paced environment.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are searching for a detail-oriented team member who has a passion for keeping dogs clean and healthy. A successful Dog Bather is resilient, perceptive, patient, adaptable, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a motivated team member who wants to advance their career through our training path to become a Scenthound Groomer or Assistant Store Manager.

This position requires:

A visionary mindset, someone ready to embark on a new and fun journey at Scenthound South Tampa!

Flexible Schedule: Availability Monday through Saturday 8am-6pm (no evening or Sunday shifts)

Proficient with Technology (comfortable working on an i-Pad)

Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

Tasks:

Clean and prep dogs for grooming, including bathing, blow dry, clip/grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, brush teeth, express glands, and more

Identify the dog’s health indicators and input them into a health report card

Offer assistance when needed to keep the daily schedule of services

Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times

Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices; Sanitize and clean kennels, tubs, floors, equipment, change/clean washer and dryer filters, wash towels, and more
