Salty Dawg is seeking an experienced dog groomer to join our family! Our culture creates a uniquely wonderful learning environment that attracts the most qualified team members who always put our pet guests first. We just bought this location, and we’re looking to hire more experienced groomers. This is a high volume dog grooming salon. Our current “demand” exceeds “supply”. Commission based pay with guaranteed clients and minimum base wage guarantee.

What we are looking for:

The Dog Bather is responsible for delivering high-quality bathing and hygiene services for our furry clients at Salty Dawg Pet Salon. This role focuses on ensuring each dog is bathed safely and comfortably while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and care. The Dog Bather works with staff and clients to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment for pets.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily dog bathing and hygiene services, ensuring each dog is handled with care and attention to their comfort.

Follow established protocols to maintain optimal pet care during bathing services.

Communicate with clients to understand each dog's specific hygiene needs and provide recommendations for services as necessary.

Ensure all bathing equipment and products meet safety and quality standards.

Work closely with the grooming team to follow client preferences and special care instructions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bathing areas, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment for pets.

Stay informed on best practices in pet hygiene and bathing techniques.

Assist in training new bathers on proper bathing techniques and hygiene standards.

Monitor dogs' health and comfort during and after bathing, reporting any concerns to pet owners and management.

Schedule:

· FT/ PT

· Day or Evening shifts

Experience: Pet Grooming (1 year grooming experience required)
