Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. This role is perfect for animal lovers looking to work in a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding environment. The Dog Daycare Attendant will provide exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and well-being

Engage in interactive play and enrichment activities

Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, bathrooms, and common spaces

Observe and report dog behavior, intervening when necessary to prevent conflicts

Assist with feeding schedules and provide fresh water to dogs according to their individual needs

Communicate with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's activities and behavior

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care

Requirements:

Previous experience in animal care (such as veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, or pet sitter) preferred but not required

Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques

Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds

Must be 18 years or older

Weekends as needed
