Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will be essential in ensuring that each dog receives the care and attention they deserve while their owners are away.

Duties

Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including regular cleaning of kennels, play areas, and equipment.

Feed and provide fresh water to dogs according to their specific dietary needs.

Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff as necessary.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dogs’ activities and behaviors during daycare.

Implement proper animal handling techniques to ensure safety for both staff and pets.

Participate in training sessions for new employees on animal care protocols and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in kennel work, pet grooming, or animal handling is preferred.

Knowledge of pet care practices, including dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.

Experience as a veterinary technician or in a veterinary setting is a plus but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Must be physically capable of lifting dogs of various sizes and standing for extended periods.
