The Domestic Operations Manager oversees all domestic freight operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation of goods. This role involves team management, client and vendor coordination, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily domestic freight operations and ensure timely delivery. Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Manage and mentor the operations team. Monitor performance and promote safety and continuous improvement.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors. Resolve issues and negotiate contracts with service providers. Ensure operations comply with transportation laws and company policies. Stay updated on industry regulations. Track key metrics and prepare operational reports. Identify and implement improvements Manage budgets and find cost-saving opportunities without reducing quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Relevant experience in logistics or freight forwarding.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of transport regulations and logistics software.
