    Interested candidates should have in-depth knowledge of the biggest gaming streamers and content creators and must be comfortable writing news about various related topics. This is a great opportunity to cover the gaming communities you love while working with one of the best teams in esports journalism. Applicants should be self-starters who are eager to learn and respond well to constructive criticism. We're a global, digital newsroom, and work will be remote.

    Please provide a portfolio or writing examples to showcase your work.

    We're looking for multiple types of writers who regularly interact with online creators. These include:

    And many more within the field of esports and general gaming. Let us know who you can cover!

    Responsibilities:

    • Help cover news and guides around game releases
    • Work with editors to develop pitches
    • Meet deadlines for publishing stories
    • Follow trending topics through Google Trends and Twitter
    • Write a minimum of 20 stories per month
    • Understanding online game communities and the games themselves

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of experience writing in the gaming industry
    • Knowledge of SEO practices
    • Weekend availability

    Compensation ranges from $16-$90 USD per article. Pay rates may vary for international candidates based on location.
