    We are looking to hire a paralegal with superb research and organizational skills.

    A successful paralegal should be a critical thinker and have exceptional writing skills with interest in fashioning credible legal reports. Top candidates will display accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent time management, organizational and listening skills.

    This is preferably a full-time role, however, an exceptional candidate may be able to start part-time with the opportunity to transition to earning a rewarding full-time role with ample opportunity for career advancement.

    Paralegal Responsibilities:

    · Meet with attorneys to discuss assignments and projects

    · Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining attorney calendars, including all appointments, meetings, deadlines, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation

    · Proofread various documents: contracts, agreements, etc.

    · Maintain legal files electronically and physically within the office

    · Perform legal and background research when requested

    · Perform clerical duties to ensure that related documents are properly ordered and available.

    · Maintain and update law libraries, literature and documentation.

    Paralegal Requirements:

    · Bachelor’s degree (required)

    · Paralegal Certificate (preferred but not required)

    · Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.

    · Excellent document management skills.

    · Organized with strong conceptual and research skills.

    · Flexible schedule with a commitment to attendance.

    · Critical thinker who displays accuracy and attention to detail.

    · Excellent comprehension of the law.

    · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    · Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
