    Full Job Description

    Essential Role and Responsibilities:

    Assist Driller to perform various drilling activities. Examples include soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, and monitoring well installation

    Assists Driller to load and unload drilling equipment

    Prepares tooling and supplies for the day’s tasks

    Repetitive assembling and disassembling steel rods, augers and other drilling equipment

    Handle and utilize pumps, generators, hydraulically-powered and electrical tools & equipment

    Responsible for Maintaining & Cleaning tooling, and Handling, Organizing & Storing equipment

    Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work

    Acts as an assistant to the lead operator to help perform routine drilling tasks

    Drives medium duty trucks to various job sites.

    Requirements:

    Reliable transportation to and from work, with valid Drivers license & insurable DMV history

    Consistently prompt and Able to work daily with minimal absenteeism

    Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions

    Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication

    Ability to receive work instructions and follow-through with assigned tasks

    Positive Team-oriented attitude and able to execute assigned tasks without obstructive negativity

    Must be able to work off shifts and overtime

    Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.... Over 50 pounds frequently, with assistance.

    Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound.

    Ability to kneel and squat occasionally

    Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

    Ability to screw and unscrew steel rods with dual dexterity, handle heavy tools, and work safely around heavy machinery and equipment

    Experience:

    Drilling: 1-2 years (Preferred), None required

    License/Certification:

    Driver's License (Required)
