Job Description

The Work Incident and Leave Administrator position is involved in all aspects of Leave and Disability. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Processes and tracks leave requests according to procedure through internal and external systems to ensure compliance
• Handle all aspects of worker’s compensation by assisting reps and managers who report work-related incidents from start to finish
• Listen to all voicemails and respond appropriately
• Complete Wage and Disability Forms and send to the appropriate parties via fax or email
• Track vacation, jury duty, and other ACA recordable leaves as required
• Process LOA from start to finish including the following: all communication and communication attempts, determining eligibility, providing a job description upon return, and notification of return to work to manager
• Process terminations for reps on LOA by following internal policies: creating appropriate documentation, sending to the according parties, notifying reps and managers, and finalizing the termination in V3
• Terminate reps in V3 that settled for a worker’s compensation incident
• Manage the reasonable accommodation request process from start (request) to finish (final answer)
• Handle the bereavement process and all corresponding communication attempts
• Review return to work doctor’s notes for employees on LOA and dig deeper on those that look suspicious or did not have restrictions listed
• Keeps an up-to-date spreadsheet and sends the Benefits Department the report every other week of: reps went on and came back from LOA, WC, and FMLA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or education plus experience equivalent
• Some Human Resource background preferred
• National experience a plus
