  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Our Hardware development team in Plymouth, MI develops Camera and Radar based driver assistance products.

    We offer an internship (full time or part time) for 6 months or longer, or a Co-Op position to support the development team.

    • Support engineering debugging and development testing of automotive cameras in lab and lab environment
    • Analyze and document test results
    • Support in documentation and process related tool
      • Requirements capture in DOORS
      • Test results documentation in RQM
    • Performing measurements in electronic labs by use of Digital Multimeter (DMM), oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzer
    • Support building wiring harnesses
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, or Physics
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Good communication skills and team work spirit
    • Ability to work independently and self-organized
    • Understanding of electronic design and circuits
    • Ability to read basic electronic schematics and wiring plans
    • Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
    • Understanding of basic electronic design and circuits principles
    • Ability to work in a lab environment

    Preferred

    • Ability to work with basic electrical instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
    • Ability to use basic electrical/mechanical hand tools and using soldering irons
    • Experienced in electronic design and controls
    • Experienced in MATLAB. Understanding of complex scripts
    • Mechanical understanding and hands-on
