Shepard Bros., a premier family-owned manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals and services to a variety of industries in the Western United States, has an immediate opening in for a Class A driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to deliver products throughout Southern California. The position offers a competitive compensation package along with career growth potential. Responsibilities: • Transport chemical, water treatment, and food ingredient orders to customer destinations • Maintain truck and trailer to comply with D.O.T. regulations • Provide a high level of professional service to customers • Comply with all company safety rules, policies, and procedures Qualifications: Requirements: • Chemical unloading experience is required. Pump-off experience is preferred but not required • Class A CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements • Deliver products from Shepard Bros La Habra facility to customer sites throughout Southern California. Work schedule is Monday through Friday. • High School Diploma or GED • Minimum of 21 years of age • Minimum of 2 years of trailer experience • Possess at least one year of experience working with chemicals • Graduate of an accredited truck driving school a plus • Clean driving and criminal record • Must pass background check, physical, drug screen, and obtain a D.O.T. medical card • Shipping/Receiving, forklift, and packaging experience a plus • Basic written and verbal communication skills Compensation: $30 - $33 hourly
