Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Driver / Crew Runner to support our restoration teams in the field. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations by transporting crews, delivering equipment and materials, and providing logistical support to project sites. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport crews to and from job sites using company vehicles
Pick up and deliver tools, equipment, and supplies between job sites, vendors, and the warehouse
Assist with loading/unloading tools, debris, and materials as needed
Communicate regularly with the Field Coordinator and Project Managers for daily tasks and priorities
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of company vehicles
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues
Support field teams with miscellaneous tasks (dump runs, fuel runs, permit drop-offs, etc.)
Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients, vendors, and the public
Ensure compliance with all safety and driving regulations
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Prior experience in construction, restoration, or logistics is a plus
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor when needed
Flexible and dependable; available to respond quickly to operational needs
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel between job sites and warehouses
Exposure to various weather conditions and construction environments
May include early morning starts, occasional weekend shifts, or after-hours availability
