The Driver Qualifications Specialist I is focused on learning systems related to qualifying a driver, learning DOT regulations around the specific parts of a Driver File, and accurately entering and reviewing information that determines the hiring status of a driver.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain ongoing communications with the Onboarding Team about status of Driver qualification status.
• Actively communicate with applicants to ensure complete and accurate information.
• Responsible for gathering all information needed to complete the Driver Qualification file. Including employment information and all required documentation, such as CDL, Med Card as well as any endorsements.
• Follow department guidelines, including use of identified technologies and methods for obtaining accurate and complete previous employment verifications, and comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Responsible for the accurate entry of driver data into company systems.
• Responsible for making sure every application processed is 100% accurate and complete, including all required documentation.

• Experience working with MS word, Outlook, and Excel

• Strong ability to work in a team environment.

• Detail oriented with commitment to complete tasks in a timely manner

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required. 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.

• Transportation industry experience preferred.

• Prior experience working in Tenstreet, TMW, AS400, and/or CS stars preferred.

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.

Pay Range: $16.41-$24.24/hourly

Pay Grade: 4
