Job Title: Driver Recruiter

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Driver Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified drivers to meet the needs of our company operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that our fleet is fully staffed with qualified, reliable drivers, contributing to our company's success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and attract qualified drivers through various channels, including online job boards, social media, job fairs, and industry networks.

· Work closely with operations and management teams to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with recruitment strategies.

· Ensure that all drivers meet the necessary legal and safety requirements, including maintaining up-to-date records for DOT compliance

· Assist in the orientation and onboarding process to ensure drivers are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed in their roles.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in recruitment, and transportation/logistics.

· Knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance standards.

· Strong understanding of industry-specific standards, safety protocols, and driver qualifications.

· Proven track record of successfully sourcing and recruiting candidates for driver positions, with an understanding of the unique challenges in the transportation industry.

Skills:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to assess candidates effectively and make hiring decisions.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Proficient in using recruitment software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite
