  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Drives Mobile Career Center to outside areas for outreach and career center activities.
    • Greets callers/visitors, determines nature of call/visit, and assists promptly, courteously, and accurately.
    • Alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department, or employee
    • Ensure all job seekers register for System of Record and provide assistance with registration on initial visit
    • Conduct an initial assessment of needs and guide accordingly. Encourage participation in relevant workshops by presenting the benefits
    • Provide overview of all career center services encouraging questions.
    • Demonstrates sensitivity to all job seekers; may work with a diverse population
    • Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources (i.e. ResCare’s locations, hours of operation, phone numbers, or email addresses)
    • Performs administrative activities including inputting data in information systems, booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • CDL Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement required
    • High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
    • Customer service, communication, and organizational skills required
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and deal with irate customers
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products preferred
