Job: Driving On Call Caregiver Company: Comforcare Home Care - Montgomery County South East
ComForCare Home Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for a short-shift, on-call position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle, as some clients may be located at a distance. Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling between two clients scheduled back-to-back. Stand-by direct care workers will be given a time frame they will need to be available to fill shifts.
Caregiver's Benefits:
On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work
Rate: $13.00 - $14.00

Duties:
Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Medication Management: Help with medication reminders and administering prescribed medications.
Mobility Assistance: Aid with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids.
Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in health conditions, including vital signs if required.
Record Keeping: Maintain records of care activities, including medication administration and changes in health status.
Requirements:
Experience: 3 year caregiving (required)
Must be willing to work in Montgomery County South East (Please only apply if you are willing and flexible to work in that location)
Transportation: Own vehicle (not from someone else) or reliable transport (required)
Health Tests: 2-step PPD (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 2 years) or QuantiFERON Gold Test
