The Principal SaaS Software Engineer will design, develop and test Duclo's SaaS products. This role will lead and manage an offshore development team. The successful candidate will work with CloudOps and DevOps teams in coordinating a robust CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality deployments of Duclo's software products.

What we are looking for:

• 15+ years of development experience in SaaS-based products running on AWS (or GCP)
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred
• Expertise in linux-based system engineering
• Expertise in media streaming protocols like RTSP, WebRTC, SIP, low latency streaming, CVR / DVR
• Expert in scalable, test driven, JAVA or Python back-end software development with frameworks such as Spring, Django.
• Must have worked on at least one high throughput, highly available and massively scalable application that is deployed in a production environment.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with No-SQL database, DynamoDB and caching stack like Redis, DAX
• Experience with web socket or similar type of technology is plus
• Experience in MQTT
• Experience in containerized, micro-service architecture using Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with version control, issue tracking, continuous integration environment
• Experience with junit and similar test-driven development.
• Experience with multithreaded, high concurrency and performance-oriented applications
• Experience with Jira issue tracking system
• Familiar with service mesh technology

• Ability to quickly and clearly design and document software before implementation
• Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed for collaboration and to manage external domestic and international resources.
