The starting hourly rate is $21.00 per hour, plus incentives. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm with occasional overtime. Company paid benefits valued at an additional $900 a month, include:

Quality Technicians with Dunlop Aircraft Tyres are responsible to perform the following included but not limited to:
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform various audits to ensure specifications/ procedures are being met/followed.
- Reports documentation findings to Quality Coordinator (or designee) so root cause analysis/ preventative actions can be conducted.
- Review of all documentation related to product standards and quality. This includes but not limited to standard operating procedures, appearance standards, route cards, label approvals, and calibration records.
- Assists in critical daily audit systems to ensure all quality required documentation is accurately completed on daily basis.
- Support in root cause analysis/corrective action with cross-functional teams, including the quality department, process engineering, production, and suppliers.
- Review quality alerts, corrective actions, and containment activities. Ensure that instructions for inspection or rework are understood and followed by the production associates working in the area.
- Serve as an active 8D team contributor, assisting in identifying root cause(s), permanent corrective action and preventative measures (mistake/error-proofing).
- Perform various process, quality, and safety audits to ensure standards are being maintained.
- Report nonconforming product to production and quality, and engineering departments.
- Review Quarantined Tires for disposition daily.
- Conduct operator training (initial and remedial): quality alerts, toolbox talks, proper use of equipment, inspections, any other quality-related training as assigned.
- Provide immediate feedback to team leaders, Quality Coordinator (or designee) and management regarding compliance issues as directed.
- Provide disposition of nonconforming or suspect material per guidelines from Quality department.
- Serve as an active participant in 5s programs.
- Participate in Safety responsibilities as outline by safety department.
- Log tire defects to collect and analyze trends to produce root cause analysis.
- Support Process Improvements to provide sustainability and drive Right First-Time culture.
- Ability to work across shifts to make sure training, and communications are captured by all operators.
Other:
- Collaboration & communication with other departments of the plant as it pertains to quality
- Must adhere to all company, site, and safety policies
- Must be able to work extended hours when required
- All other duties as assigned
