Contract Renewals, Support Service Specialist *Remote*

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of a Contract Renewal, Support Service Specialist is to facilitate the renewal of software licenses and hardware support for our Government customers. You will serve as a key point of contact and ensure a high level of customer service, precision in quoting, contract review, negotiation of terms, and ensuring accuracy between customer requirements and manufacturer’s offerings.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years experience as a paralegal, contract administrator, sales, account management, or related field.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of the Support Services team, you will lead the renewal activities for an assigned list of key accounts. A focus on customer satisfaction, organization, and time management is needed as you support your accounts. You will work directly with your customers to assess their existing software license and hardware maintenance situation to ensure proper coverage based on their business requirements. You will assist in identifying the right mix of hardware and software maintenance offerings, recommend options that suit the customer’s needs, and support all post-renewal sales operations through the duration of the contract. As a Support Service Specialist, you will work to develop long-term customer relationships and become the trusted support services advisor to your accounts.
In addition to account management duties, Support Service Specialist responsibilities include quoting, responding to service bids and proposals, following up on new leads, the assessment of orders for accuracy, and the efficient processing of renewals. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper processing/booking/invoicing of support contracts. Portfolio Managers will review solicitations and purchase orders for terms and conditions compliance as well as negotiate contract terms directly with buyers.
In your role you will develop and maintain key vendor and manufacturer relationships. Activities include regular communications with vendor representatives, vendor pricing analysis, quote reconciliation, and sales forecasting. The completion of vendor certifications and continuing education requirements will keep you current with technology, offering updates, and vendor terms compliance.
