About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Director to lead our North American Ecommerce team. This role is pivotal in extending the growth of ecommerce demand across our own website, Amazon 1P and 3P, 3P marketplaces, and partner B2B Ecommerce Partner sites. In addition, this role will be charged with enhancing our customer’s experience with our brand across all ecommerce marketplaces thru close collaboration with our Sales and Marketing Team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for and demonstrable track record of success in Multi-channel ecommerce with an equal desire to grow their business and themselves professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Refine and execute Comprehensive Multi-channel Ecommerce Strategy to ensure growth is accessible and achieved across all Ecommerce channels.
Identify opportunities across all Ecommerce channels and develop Strategic Action Plans aimed at accessing and achieving those opportunities.
Set clear goals and KPIs to measure and report on the success of each Ecommerce strategic initiative.
Ecommerce Operations:
Comprehensive ownership of all Ecommerce operations including our own online ecommerce store, Amazon 1P and 3P US and Canada, EBay and Walmart Marketplaces, and all of our B2B Retail Partner listings.
Analyze, oversee, and collaborate with the Marketing and Ecommerce Teams to improve the Ecommerce Customer Journey, from product discovery to post-purchase experience.
Develop Strategy Action plans to optimize our own website performance, including but not limited to Site Traffic, Conversion/Return Rate, Customer Acquisition/Retention Cost, Return on Advertising Spend, and Lifetime Value.
Implement effective Merchandising and Cross-merchandising strategies to drive improved Conversion, Sales and Average Order Value across all Ecommerce Marketplaces.
Collaborate with our Key Account Director to foster relationships with our B2B Ecommerce partners to ensure product placement, promotions, and inventory levels are optimized for growth.
Digital Marketing:
Develop Multi-year Strategic Action Plans to support Ecommerce growth via Digital Marketing efforts, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, Influencer/Affiliates, and Content Marketing.
Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop and execute successful Integrated Marketing Campaigns.
Customer Experience:
Prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Implement customer service strategies to ensure timely and effective support.
Utilize customer feedback to improve the overall shopping experience.
Financial Performance:
Deliver results that meet or exceed Ecommerce P&L expectations including Revenue, Expenses, and Profitability.
Continual analysis of sales data and financial performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, trends and opportunities and adjust business to achieve maximum performance.
Effective and Efficient Forecasting of Multi-year Sales, Sales Growth, and Required Inputs/Investments.
Team Leadership:
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Ecommerce professionals.
Foster a culture of Growth and Development, Innovation, Collaboration, and Continuous Improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in a competitive Multi-channel Ecommerce Consumer marketplace.
Deep Experience operating Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), Amazon 1P and 3P, and B2B Ecommerce partners such as Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Grainger, Tractor Supply, etc.
Demonstrated success developing and implementing profitable Customer Acquisition and Retention, and Digital Advertising Strategies leading to significant Ecommerce growth. .
Experience with Marketing Automation platforms, A/B testing and Dynamic Personalization is Preferred.
· Passion for eCommerce and Marketing coupled with a strong understanding of the digital Marketing landscape.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights from multiple sources.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within a Matrix organization is a PLUS.

Working hours:
This is a full-time Hybrid role (3 Days in-office, 2 Days Work-from-home) with standard working hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
