Position Overview: As the E-Commerce and Retail Support Manager at The Plaza, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. You will oversee inventory flow, optimize the e-commerce platform, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for our guests. Your expertise in retail operations and e-commerce will be crucial in enhancing our online and in-store presence.
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Annual Salary
Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Retail, your key responsibilities will include:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Onsite Retail Support : manager support to hourly staff during store hours including covering for breaks and being onsite until store close. Assisting with hotel guest and inter-department requests. Stock and inventory system support for back of house as needed during heavy shipping periods. ****
- Inventory Management: ensure proper inventory for fast selling product and implement an exit strategy for slow selling product.
- E-Commerce Oversight: Audit the online store to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory levels, while updating the e-commerce website to enhance user experience.
- Business Analysis: Partner with the Retail Team to monitor and analyze business trends, managing inventory flow and sell-through rates. Communicate actionable insights to the Operations Team.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong vendor relationships through accurate invoicing, Purchase Order requests, and consistent communication.
- Buying Process Advisory: Provide insights into the buying process, utilizing historical data, reports, and customer feedback to influence inventory levels and sales strategies.
- Operational Efficiency: Make recommendations for improvements within the stores and e-commerce platform to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained both in-store and online, responding promptly to customer needs.
