    Wire or Sinker EDM Operator – Cleveland & Brecksville, OH

    Emerge is actively recruiting skilled Wire or Sinker EDM Operator/Machinists for direct-hire positions in Cleveland and Brecksville, OH with a leading manufacturer known for producing high-quality products. If you're looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where precision and craftsmanship matter, this is your opportunity! Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience operation EDM Machinery, preferably making molds and dies. 

    \---Pay: $22–$28 per hour + 20% shift premium for 2nd shift
    \---Benefits: Excellent benefits starting on day one
    \---Shifts:

    • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
    • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate EDM Wire machines (Mitsubishi) or EDM Sinker machines (Sodick & Charmilles)
    • Read and interpret blueprints and setup sheets to ensure precision
    • Perform machining within very tight tolerances
    • Inspect your own work to meet high-quality standards
    • Work closely with Engineering and Programming teams throughout production
    • Utilize various machinery such as Bridgeport mills, grinders, saws, and EDM equipment
    • Maintain compliance with Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR standards

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in tool and mold making
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Journeyman’s papers in Tool & Die and/or Mold Making OR 8+ years of job shop experience
    • Experience in turbine/airfoil mold and die construction is highly preferred
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
    • Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry
    • Deep understanding of tooling processes
    • ITAR Compliance: This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), requiring U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
