    Job Description

    SUMMARY: The Territory Manager creates and maintains client relationships to satisfy the needs of partnering school districts within the designated territory. This position is for the daytime road warrior!

    Serving district client counties of: Branch, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, Wayne

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Develop and maintain school district relationships.

    2. Oversee the success of assigned Michigan territory to ensure the client is 100% satisfied with EDUStaff services.

    3. Effectively and efficiently communicate with the Home Office and clients in person, via email and phone.

    4. Develop intimate knowledge of the overall processes, procedures, and database applications of the organization.

    5. Facilitate New Guest Teacher Workshops at least once per quarter.

    6. Attend school district/ISD meetings as required.

    7. Coordinate with surrounding team members as needed.

    8. Partner with assigned District Ambassador to serve district needs.

    9. Attend Implementation and Rollover Meetings as needed.

    10. Attend sales and RFP meetings as needed.

    11. Represent company at state association conferences.

    12. Assist with “emergency hires” as needed in conjunction with the Operations Team.

    13. Respond to all client emails and calls within 24 hours.

    14. Visit each partnering school district within assigned territory as designed by “District Visit Strategy”.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    At minimum a Territory Manager shall hold a Bachelor’s degree with experience in customer relations, education, and management.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Knowledge of English literacy skills in reading, writing and oral language.

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.     TRAVEL:

    This position requires up to 100% travel in the company vehicle to the assigned districts/ISD’s during normal daytime business hours. Also, regular travel to the corporate office in Grand Rapids on most Fridays.
