We have a Material Handler position available on 1st shift. The duties and responsibilities include following standard work instructions, delivering product to all areas of production based on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Follow standard work instructions to make repeatable delivery schedules to all areas of production for material replenishment or removal every 2 hrs.
• Complete paperwork and enter transactions into computer system
• Train in Lean methods and participate in team projects to help reduce through-put time and increase productivity
• Load / unload trucks
• Assist operators with pre-staging and machine set-ups where needed
• Perform cycle count inventory as required
• Replenish point of use storage locations daily
• May be required to evaluate work center issues with materials, machines, and workloads and report current status to supervisors.
• Stack boxes on pallets
• Keep warehouse clean and organized
• Follow all safety and housekeeping policies
• Understand and adhere to Kanban scheduling system

Requirements:

• Fork truck experience is required.
• Warehouse or material handling experience is required.
• Pass a color identification test.
• Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 lb. with assistance
• The job requires standing and/or walking for long periods of time
• Reliable attendance
• Position may have some required overtime

Schedule:

• Full-time - 40+ hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Pay rate based on experience
