Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Davenport, IA for an Electrical Technician with a focus on combustion. As an Electrical Technician - Combustion, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical issues related to combustion engines. You will be involved in testing and maintenance of equipment including engines, gearboxes, and other related equipment to optimize their performance. You will also work closely with other employees across different departments and may occasionally be required to coordinate with external vendors or customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Associate degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field

3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment with experience working on combustion engines

Experience with MW-class gas turbines in power generation applications desired

Strong technical and problem-solving abilities with working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and operational processes

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient knowledge of standard office software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
