Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with relevant commercial facilities, owners, contractors, architects, and suppliers
Assist with material and installation quotes from site visits, architectural plans, emails, and verbal requests
Promote and sell facility service contracts while maintaining a good relationship with key decision makers
Follow up to secure new signed proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and approved shop drawings/submittals
Sales lead generation
Maintain current product and application knowledge along with relevant local building codes
Communicate with office personnel when detailing scope of work and installation
Monthly sales forecast and weekly activity reports
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience (B2B), customer service, or other related fields
Familiarity with quoting software
Knowledge and practical use of Word, Excel, and Adobe pdf
Strong negotiation skills
Read and comprehend construction blueprints and specifications
Self motivated, disciplined, and well organized
Must be comfortable in construction environments
Must be willing to travel
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with automatic doors (operators, sliders, revolvers)
Knowledge and experience with commercial door hardware and storefront
AAADM certification
Familiar with current life safety and ADA codes
