    The primary function of the EMS Supervisor is to oversee the daily operational workflow for a short-term Baltimore City 911 Assignment. The EMS Supervisor will interface with Baltimore City and H2H’s HR Department. The EMS Supervisor has the autonomy to make real time decisions based on independent judgement. This position will report directly to the Owner and VP of Operations.

    Primary Duties:

    • At morning and afternoon shift transitions, address all operation concerns to include but not limited to maintenance issues, supply concerns, equipment matters, etc.

    • Ensure Team Leads are handling pairing of personnel and vehicle assignments and communicating staffing and vehicle barriers to the EMS Liaison real time.

    • Assist and provide real time ground support to the Team Leads and EMS providers.

    • Direct all HR matters to the onsite HR Administrator.

    • Summarize, in detail, staffing, attendance and personnel concerns for record and documentation purposes.

    • Conduct real time outreach using most connected forms of communications, i.e. text/ call.

    • Update scheduling changes along with sending notification to Internal BCFD email group to summarize AM/PM schedule adjustments (training will be provided).

    • Direct and manage crew activity when arriving at the Baltimore Station to streamline deployment and eliminate confusion and distraction upon Leadership team.

    • Direct and manage crew activity when returning to the Baltimore Station by enforcing parking lot flow with staging units in front of Statewide, establish final chain of custody on high valued items, and identify equipment loss for payroll deduction.

    • Coordinate, track and request the replacement of all BCFD issued supplies including high valued medications (i.e. NARCAN), tourniquets and PPE with BCFD EMS10 Officer.

    Requirements:

    • An individual who is self-motivated and focused on good outcomes and teamwork

    • Expected to provide strong problem-solving skills to support H2H, our valued EMS providers and BCFD

    • General familiarization with Microsoft Excel and Word, MD eMEDS elite

    • Required to drive a company vehicle (must have no more than 2 points on driving record)

    • Will backfill EMS roles when directed by H2H Operations Manager, HR, and/or Senior Leadership

    • EMTB Certification
