POSITION OBJECTIVE: THE PROGRAM ASSOCIATE WILL REPORT TO THE SENIOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR, CARLO SOLIS, AND WILL BE FOCUSED ON OUR DIRECT HIRE PORTFOLIO, JOB READINESS TRAINING AND YOUTH PARTICIPANT ONBOARDING.
PROGRAM TEAM MEMBERS SHARE RESPONSIBILITIES IN ALL AREAS OF THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING COACHING, TRAINING AND ADMINISTRATION. ALL EMPLOYEES AT ENTERPRISE CARE DEEPLY ABOUT EQUITY AND BELONGING AND ALL TEAMMATES PARTICIPATE IN DESIGNING AND CREATING THE VERY BEST EXPERIENCES FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AND OUR TEAM TO THAT END. MUST BE CREATIVE AND ENJOY WORKING WITHIN A SMALL, NONPROFIT ENVIRONMENT THAT IS MISSION-DRIVEN AND COMMUNITY ORIENTED. MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO EXERCISE GOOD JUDGMENT IN A VARIETY OF SITUATIONS, WITH STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION, ADMINISTRATIVE, AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, AND THE ABILITY TO MAINTAIN A REALISTIC BALANCE AMONG MULTIPLE PRIORITIES.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
SERVING AS A JOB TRAINING CO-FACILITATOR FOR JOB TRAINING PROGRAMS IN GREEN CAREERS AND RETAIL
SERVING AS AN ENTERPRISE JOB COACH TO YOUTH PARTICIPATING IN SUMMER AND FALL INTERNSHIPS
SUPPORTING THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR WITH DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND THEIR FAMILIES (DCYF) AND OFFICE OF ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT (OEWD) WITH DATA MAINTENANCE, PROGRAM EVALUATION TOOLS, AND PROGRAM COMPLIANCE
SALARY: $60,000 PER YEAR

Founded in 1969, Enterprise for Youth empowers San Francisco youth ages 14 to 21 through a continuum of workforce development programming. Enterprise serves 500 youth annually through a full range of employment resources, including job-readiness training, paid internships with college credit, and continued access to Enterprise job listings in our job bank—the only youth job bank in the City.
