The Service Advisor is the face of the dealership and is very important to the success of our business. It is the Service Advisor’s responsibility to present and sell needed services to the customer in a professional manner while adhering to the company’s expectations, policies, and guidelines. Our Service Advisors have access to an internal training program to help you grow your skills that will allow you to cultivate long-lasting relationships with our clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information
Actively promote and build rapport with the customer
Advise customers on the care and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
Generate and provide customer with a complete and accurate estimate of repair
Establish and communicate completion time of repair with customer and technician
Answer incoming service calls
Maintain and schedule service appointments
Follow set procedures for customer post follow-up resulting in return visits and increased sales
Comply with all federal, state and local laws, and company policy, regarding the safeguarding all customer, company and manufacturer information, as well as customers vehicle and property
Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment with limited supervision
Must have great customer service, phone and computer skills
Previous automotive Service Advisor experience heavily preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Sales Experience: Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar position or demonstrate an ability to sell.
Organizational & Focus Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
Computer Knowledge: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer. This includes the ability to type or dictate at least 30 words per minute, operate a cursor, view a computer monitor, operate an email account, and use common office software such as word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English fluently, both in verbal and in written form. This includes the use of a telephone.
Math Skills: Must possess ability to count. Must know how to perform basic math functions using a calculator.
Physical Demands: Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.
