    Job Description

    Environmental Waste Minimization, Inc and Rapid Response Inc. are growing environmental remediation and emergency response companies with several environmental services offered; having completed projects in the Mid-Atlantic states, California and beyond. We currently have two locations, Northampton, PA and Bakersfield, CA.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS: 

    ·         Focus on services related to engineering prospects, construction companies, corporate manufacturers, Plant Closures and Industrial clients in EWMI’s operating area and all others determined by the organization. 

    ·         Manage a multitude of responsibilities and tasks all oriented towards locating new projects to bid, attracting more opportunities, and obtaining new clients. 

    ·         Job functions include cold / warm calling, setting appointments for outside reps, navigating these companies to locate new projects to bid and building the list of new prospects.

    ·         Phone calling and prospecting is a primary function. Utilizing metrics for analyzing performance.

    ·         Put together “call lists” through excel or shared-drive in order to keep track of clients / calls / appointments.

    _The following abilities are essential to meeting the goals and objectives of this position.  _

    ·         Ability to cold/warm call on a consistent basis and able to keep detail notes for tracking purposes.  Tracking all calls, leads to the outside reps, projects found, and any other pertinent items.

    ·         Ability to develop new opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.  

    ·         Ability to determine if any social media avenues would be beneficial to market EWMI’s services and if so create, establish, and market via this source.

    ·         Ability to work independently while meeting sales objectives and to seek help when needed.

    ·         Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and customers.

    ·         Be flexible in daily priorities and be highly organized.

    ·         Attend and successfully complete industry related training classes and seminars.

    ·         Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. 

    ·         Possess competent computer skills along with strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

    ·         A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player is essential. 

    ·         EWMI bases individual success on your “professionalism” as well as results

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

    · Understand customer needs and requirements

    · Manage a multitude of responsibilities and tasks all oriented towards locating new projects to bid, attracting more opportunities and obtaining new clients

    · Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager for further development and closure

    · Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

    · Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

    · Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

    · Marketing the firm via email marketing, creating new fliers/marketing pages, etc.

    · Ability to work independently while meeting sales goals

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    · BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred

    · Proven Inside Sales experience (0 to 5 Years)

    · Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

    · Experience working with CRM or similar database

    · Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    · Strong listening and presentation skills

    · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    · Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, etc)
