Early Childhood Soccer Coordinator, Soccer Shots Harrisburg/York Reports to: Director of Coaching

THE JOB
The Coordinator is accountable for daily operations across multiple areas. The Program Coordinator has a direct impact on the growth of our programs and the quality of every child's experience with Soccer Shots. Responsibilities include:
Coaching & Coaching Leadership:
Coaching -- coaching schedule during seasons (approximately 40 weeks of the year) will make up 50% of the time. As a coach, one must be enthusiastic and enjoy interacting with young children, and be able to connect with them on their level. -Serves as a role model to children, exemplifying Soccer Shots' core values and program philosophy.
Commitment to excellence, quality, and safety through participation in the game of soccer.
Effectively communicates with Soccer Shots leadership and team as well as center directors, teachers, and parents.
Assisting with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, and managing coaches. Program Administration and Execution
Assisting with maintaining master schedule; handling cancellations and reschedules, as needed. Marketing and Communication:
Assisting in the execution of seasonal marketing/promotions -- running program demonstrations, and distributing marketing materials, and special events
Communicating with parents, directors, and other account representatives
Assisting with the writing and emailing of newsletters, per schedule
Assisting with social media
THE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Full-time salary range begins at $38,000 -$42,000 with health benefits available. Soccer Shots provides access to leader development resources, and the team may have opportunities for growth and advancement.
WHAT YOU NEED
Soccer Shots staff must love children and soccer. Coordinators should have a background in a related field (e.g., education, teaching, sociology, sports management, business) and/or experience as a coach, teacher, instructor, or educator. They should be resourceful, professional, caring, and take initiative. They should also possess strong communication skills, acute attention to detail, the ability to prioritize many tasks, and great computer skills (word, excel, google cal/docs/sheets). Must have a positive attitude and be hungry, humble, and smart.
