Wichita Collegiate School (WCS), a thriving Independent School located in Wichita, KS, is adding classroom teachers to our Early Childhood team. Our teachers are responsible for providing a supportive and collaborative learning environment for our students. Wichita Collegiate School is a coeducational, college preparatory, independent day school for students in Early Childhood 2-year-olds through Grade 12. Located in East Wichita on a 42-acre campus, Wichita Collegiate is home to just under 970 students in four divisions. These divisions are named Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School.

Position Description
The Early Childhood Center at WCS is a place that values the whole child and supports the unique needs that students bring with them as they enhance our school community. It is expected that Faculty place students at the center of all teaching and learning in their learning spaces to ensure the best possible educational experience and achievement for all students. Faculty at WCS value differences and are expected to foster opportunities for conversation, acceptance, and celebration of diverse cultures, belief systems, and backgrounds. The primary responsibilities of a Collegiate teacher include, but not be limited to, the following:
Successful Collegiate Educators have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a subject area specific to the curriculum and at least three years of classroom experience. Advanced education or relevant professional experience may be substituted for the classroom experience.
