    BUSINESS DATA ANALYST

    The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative and is a trained accountant to join its Administration Team.

    Essential Duties and Qualifications:

    • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of database solutions that meet business requirements and performance goals

    • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and trends.

    • Evaluate existing database systems and propose enhancements or alternative solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

    • Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions into applications and systems.

    • Define and enforce database standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability across projects.

    • Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.

    • Implement data security measures in collaboration with IT managed services provider to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Develop and maintain documentation, including database schemas, data dictionaries, and system configurations.

    • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to stakeholders to support decision-making processes.

    • Assist in data collection, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    • Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.

    • Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and consistency.

    • Optimize BI solutions for performance and usability, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

    • Train end-users on BI tools and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field and 3 years prior experience or

    • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field or related discipline and 5 years prior experience.

    • Proven experience as a Database Architect, Database Administrator, or similar role.

    • In-depth knowledge of database design principles, data modeling techniques, and normalization.

    • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

    • Strong understanding of database performance optimization, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

    • Experience with database replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions.

    Our compensation package includes the following options (these details are for information purposes and are subject to any policy or plan changes):

    Job offers are contingent upon any or all of the following:

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary Range: $55,000 -62,000 annual salary
