Responsibilities: • Build strong therapeutic alliances with clients, ensuring trust and collaboration throughout the treatment process. • Provide evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). • Support clients in developing healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and their emotions, addressing both the psychological and physical aspects of eating disorders. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (dietitians, physicians, psychiatrists) to ensure comprehensive care. • Complete documentation in accordance with TheraCorp policies, and state, and federal regulations. • Identify and respond to changes in clients' clinical status, ensuring clear communication with the treatment team. • Foster a safe, non-judgmental environment, promoting body image resilience and self-acceptance. Qualifications: • Licensure: Must be licensed in one of the following (LSW, LAC, LAMFT, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist). • Experience in Eating Disorder Treatment: Specialized training or significant experience in treating eating disorders (e.g., CBT-E, FBT, DBT). Knowledge of disordered eating, body image issues, and related psychological conditions (e.g., anxiety, trauma, depression). • Knowledge of Nutritional and Medical Aspects: Understanding of the medical and nutritional considerations of eating disorders, with experience working alongside dietitians and medical professionals. • Therapeutic Skills: Expertise in treatment approaches that focus on body image, emotional regulation, and self-acceptance. Ability to manage high-risk situations effectively and compassionately. • Strong Communication Skills: Empathy, patience, and a clear, supportive communication style with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. • Commitment to Professional Growth: Ongoing education, training, or certification in eating disorder treatment, with a desire to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices. Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 yearly
