  • Responsibilities

    Seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week assignment at an established healthcare facility's outpatient center, specializing in adult echocardiography with strong emphasis on stress echo procedures.

    Schedule Details:

    Full-time, Monday-Friday

    Day shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    40 hours per week

    No weekend, call, or float requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    Current ARDCS AE or CCI certification required

    RCS, RDCS, or RDCS AE credentials

    Current BLS certification

    Minimum 1 year clinical experience

    Strong stress echo experience (performed daily)

    First-time travelers accepted with sufficient work experience

    Technical Skills Required:

    3-D Echo proficiency

    Bubble Study expertise

    Contrast Agent imaging

    M-Mode imaging

    RVIT/RVOT procedures

    Treadmill Stress Echo competency

    Advanced calculations including:

    Simpson's Rule

    Diastology

    LV Strain/LV Volume

    Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area

    Workload & Environment:

    Average 7 patients per day

    Phillips equipment

    One day orientation provided

    On-site sonographer available for support

    Protocols provided before start

    Business casual/ceil blue scrubs (not provided)

    Compensation Details:

    Competitive base rate

    Overtime (over 40 hours/week): 1.25x

    Holiday Pay: 1.5x

    Observed Holidays: New Year's, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

    Holiday coverage period: 7:00 PM day before - 7:00 AM day after

    Important Notes:

    RTO (right to cancel) after booking is NOT permitted

    Call-offs may result in assignment cancellation and DNR status

    Pre-start interview required with manager

    Local candidates accepted (different rate may apply)

    Orientation:
