Echo Technologist

Location: Washington, DC

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in patient care by performing echocardiograms, explaining procedures, answering patient questions, and working alongside physicians on complex cases as needed. The ideal candidate has strong cardiology knowledge, exceptional communication and patient interaction skills, and holds the required state licensure.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients, obtain medical history, answer questions, and explain procedures

Conduct echocardiograms, visualizing cardiac structures and obtaining key measurements

Record and document accurate, relevant data

Collaborate with physicians and colleagues for accurate data interpretation

Assist other technologists or team members as needed

Maintain detailed and accurate records of findings

Qualifications

Required Certification: RCS or RDCS

Previous experience in a medical setting preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of confidentiality and HIPAA regulations

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
