    Environmental/Industrial Hygiene Technician needed in the Greater Kansas City area for an environmental consulting and testing company.

    This position will include collecting reliable data, troubleshooting issues in the field, analyzing air samples, and providing high-quality results to our clients. One year of experience in indoor air quality, including asbestos, lead, and mold, along with NIOSH 582 certification preferred, but not required.

    This is an entry-level position with local city/state travel required.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Conduct environmental/industrial hygiene field sampling, using various sampling equipment and techniques

    Prepare and analyze samples in the lab and field with a phase contrast microscope

    Write reports from field observations and data analysis

    Provide secondary support to EcoSafe Environmental Scientists, including environmental investigations and environmental project assistance

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, industrial hygiene, or related field required

    One year of environmental testing/industrial hygiene and/or OSHA experience, including hazardous materials, specifically conducting asbestos, lead and mold sampling preferred, but not required

    Must be able to lift/carry 50-pound equipment and climb multiple flights of stairs/tall ladders when necessary

    Proficient writing, computer and communication skills

    Valid driver’s license, clean driving record without restrictions, and reliable transportation
