• TWO-YEAR OR FOUR-YEAR DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING
• MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS OF CONTROLLER EXPERIENCE

THE FOLLOWING LIST OF JOB DUTIES IS A SAMPLING OF THE EXPECTATIONS:

• Prepare monthly financial statements according to dealership guidelines and within each manufacturer's format and time frame.
• Interpret the financial statement and daily operating control (DOC) regularly and inform dealer of developing trends.
• Provide department managers with detailed financial and management reports.
• Maintain an effective cash management system
• Review general ledger and scheduled accounts. Note any unusual entries and investigates.
• Review the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payable and floor plan payable.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining of required forms, payroll taxes and deposits, income taxes, retirement plan records etc.
• Manage the dealership computer system to maximize utilization.
• Ensure all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses and supervises the preparation of all information for the CPA in order to minimize costs.
• Continually strive to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the dealership.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• TWO-YEAR OR FOUR-YEAR DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING
• MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS OF CONTROLLER EXPERIENCE
• RESUME MUST BE UPLOADED, AND ONLINE ASSESSMENT COMPLETED FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION.
• MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP AND BE A CURRENT RESIDENT.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
