Millions of families in the United States are seeking innovative learning pathways for their children. Microschools provide small group, in-person learning for K - 12th grade students. At KaiPod Learning, we believe in a future where every child loves the school they're in, and we are dedicated to creating a world where every educator has the freedom, support, and resources to bring their dream school to life. Over the past few years, we have created the nation's largest network of Microschools, and have helped 100+ educators pursue their passions, create the school of their dreams, and fulfill their career ambitions.

KaiPod Catalyst is looking for passionate educators who are seeking creativity and flexibility in the educational process, to teach students without the limitations of traditional school systems. We are looking for passionate individuals who have a vision for education and are ready to develop a learning environment that embodies your education philosophy.

    Role Summary:

    • To qualify, you must have 10-15 hours per week to participate remotely in KaiPod Catalyst. You should be prepared to increase your commitment to full-time once your microschool launches.
    • Join virtual trainings, webinars, workshops, regular synchronous group meetings, and coffee chats to gain the expertise to launch, run and grow a Microschool.
    • Receive training and professional development related to marketing and outreach, community engagement, finance and fundraising, hiring, operations, academic programming and student experience.
    • Prepare to launch your own Microschool in Fall 2025, and join a community of Microschool leaders in your region and across the country
    • Ongoing personalized support and professional development for you and your team for three years after your school launches.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working with students, in any capacity - whether teaching in a classroom, coaching a group, or homeschooling your own child.
    • Most of our founders have bachelor's and master's degrees, and many have teaching credentials, but these are not required.
    • Passion and deep commitment to building your own school and providing innovative and personalized learning experiences.
    • A clear vision for your microschool you aren't afraid to share with everyone, inspiring others to support your efforts.
    • Community-driven, with strong relationships and dedication to serving the education needs of your community
    • Personal savings and/or a supportive partner to rely on for the first year (if the school doesn't hit full enrollment right away)
    • This opportunity is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

    Program Dates: Fall 2024 - Spring 2025.

This role and participation in KaiPod Catalyst are not paid. Since sessions are scheduled in the late afternoon or evening, this program is designed to operate alongside another full-time position. You would be expected to work full-time at your microschool sometime in Summer 2025.

To Apply: The application deadline has been extended to October 20, 2024. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as you're ready to apply. Qualified applicants will be selected to interview via video conference for the position. We typically make decisions on your candidacy within 1-2 weeks.
