Compensation: $89,000 - $130,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Resource Specialist - RN, to join our dynamic transplant team. This position will focus on kidney transplant coordination, providing education and resources for both patients and staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of kidney transplant procedures, ensuring patients receive the best care.
• Provide educational resources to both patients and medical staff regarding kidney transplant processes and post-transplant care.
• Oversee patient preparation for transplant surgery, including pre-surgery counseling and post-surgery follow-up.
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses and staff within the transplant department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including OPTN, CSM, and Epic guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with transplant advancements, research, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN Texas License or active multi-state compact RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions.
• Master's degree (education preferred).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
• At least 3 years of Kidney Transplant Coordinator experience (kidney transplant experience is required; no substitutions allowed).
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with Epic, OPTN, and CSM guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Transplant Coordinator.
