Educational Support Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Administration:
Assist the Director and Assistant Director in cultivating the school culture
Assist in daily operations of the school
Assist in regulatory and brand standards
Develop and implement school policies and procedures.
Staff Management:
Assist in training and supervising staff members
Assist in performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development
Mentor and support all faculty members
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed including teacher, substitute
Curriculum and Program Development:
Implement a high-quality educational program
Ensure that the educational programs meet the needs of all children
Support teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
Family and Community Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
Address parent concerns and provide regular communication regarding their child’s progress
Promote the schools within the community and participate in outreach activities
Health and Safety:
Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility

Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
Shows empathy and compassion for young children
Works productively without supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
