Medici Roasting is looking for an Education and Quality Control Manager to lead the coffee education program of the company. This position will play an integral part in the coffee training, quality control, and education of all staff members as well as wholesale customers. The EQC will report directly to the Director of Retail Operations (DRO) and work closely with retail, wholesale, and roasting sides of the business.

Activities and Key Responsibilities

● Initial & continuing coffee education and training of all café staff

○ Teaching classes to include Seed to Cup, Espresso 101, and Espresso 102

● Assist Director of Coffee with roasted coffee quality control

● Lead quality control at Medici retail locations and assist wholesale customers with quality control

● Minor machine maintenance

● Managing & creating seasonal drink menus for the café

● Assist in Medici product development

● Assist in shift coverage at the stores (approved by DRO)

● Maintain training lab and equipment
