Design Group is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our IT team! This position can work remote; however, it is preferred that candidates be within a commutable distance of our Memphis, TN facility. This person will be the go-to Technical Developer and system functionality pro within Epicor. Someone who understands finance concepts would be a good fit as we are seeking applicants adept in the finance module of Epicor - ERP (GL, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting) who understands how the financial module interacts with the rest of the organization. The IT Business Analyst - Epicor should have the skills to steer team tasks and manage projects in order to provide technical and functional guidance to project teams as appropriate. WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Create Epicor technical design documents, as well as review technical design from external technical consultants.
• Provide feedback, recommendation, support, direction and guidance on technical design for new development, changes, modifications and enhancements.
• Investigate issues and errors, review logs and debug programs to identify corrections within the Epicor toolset.
• Create reports, perform and create imports and exports from SQL Databases (including SSRS), use and create BAQ (including report designer / builder and or crystal reports), BPM, and DMT.
• Meet with business team members to review specific business requirements for requests and design solutions.
• Provide assistance with the enterprise’s overall business systems architecture.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another applicable area of study.
• 5+ years of Epicor technical and functional experience is required.
• Proficiency with C#, VB.NET, MS SQL Server.
• Experience working within Office 365 and Teams.
• Experience working in a Remote Office environment with a global team.
• Proven documentation skills along with experience working inside of a ticketing system such as JIRA.
