We are seeking a highly motivated CYBER SECURITY ANALYST to identify, lead, and implement cyber security initiatives across LIBERTY DIVERSIFIED INTERNATIONAL and our family of companies. You will be successful in this position if you have a passion for improving a business’ cyber security posture, are looking to facilitate collaboration across technology teams and refine and execute a cyber security roadmap while staying flexible and responding to the ever-changing cyber security landscape.

This full-time position reports directly to the CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER and is located at LDI’s headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.

Required Skills

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Participate in the day-to-day cyber security activities and initiatives
• Monitor and respond to alerts from the MDR partner and other sources
• Work with technology team to establish appropriate protection and availability of enterprise systems through effective cyber security controls
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of security incidents
• Ensure consistent implementation of the enterprise-wide Cyber Security Awareness Program which includes training, simulated phishing campaigns, and recovery exercises
• Work with the MDR partner and other partners to produces and maintains the security dashboard to create metrics and reporting
• Recommends security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk
• Provide project management and project support as it relates to cyber security deliverables
• Partner with other support teams and vendors to resolve problems or implement new products and services
• Provide on-call response for cyber security incidents as needed
• Present high-level state of security posture to executive management
• Implement new technologies and processes, such as Network Access Control system
• Participate in completion of customer or supplier questionnaires regarding cyber security
• Maintain and test incident response plan and other related documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related technical field
• 4-6 years of relevant cyber security experience
• Self-starter, highly motivated, great attitude, innate curiosity to learn and solve problems
• Ability to describe highly technical concepts in ways that non-technical audiences will understand
• Ability to work effectively alone, within a team and with business colleagues
• Broad technical background covering various computing environments – Windows, Linux, SQL, Data Centers, Networks, Azure, Citrix, Microsoft 365, etc.
• Technical expertise in analyzing threat event data, evaluating malicious activity, documenting unusual files and data, and identifying tactics by attackers
• Technical expertise in system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Operational knowledge of the NIST framework and compliance procedures
• Travel up to 10-15%
