Position Overview: Partner Attorney – California

    About Us:

We are a nationally recognized leader in nursing home negligence litigation, dedicated to advocating for the rights of vulnerable elderly individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced Partner Attorney to join our California team. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage our extensive resources while maintaining the autonomy of a sole practitioner.

    What We Offer:

As a Partner, you will receive a competitive salary along with a share of the profits generated from California case revenues after accounting for California-related overhead costs (including your salary, staff salaries, and marketing expenses).

Our firm is strategically designed to excel in California elder abuse cases, featuring:

    • Customized Case Management Software: Our proprietary system is tailored specifically for nursing home litigation, streamlining case management and enhancing productivity.
    • Robust Marketing Support: With a multi-million dollar marketing budget, we successfully referred out 120 California cases to local counsel in 2024, ensuring a consistent flow of new cases.
    • Dedicated Intake Team: Our team of six full-time intake specialists focuses solely on live intakes, converting leads into signed contracts, thereby maximizing your caseload from day one.
    • Comprehensive Administrative Support: Benefit from an in-house accounting department that manages all bookkeeping, trust fund reconciliation, and check requests, along with two full-time receptionists who handle all mail processing.
    • Lien Resolution Expertise: A full-time lien resolution specialist is available to negotiate and manage liens, allowing you to focus on what you do best—litigating cases.

With a workforce of over 40 professionals and state-of-the-art technology, we have the infrastructure necessary to support a thriving California office or multiple locations throughout the state.

    Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a candidate who is fully independent in prosecuting elder abuse and neglect cases in California. You should possess a mastery of California procedural law, pleadings, deposition tactics, and trial preparation skills necessary to manage a busy caseload effectively. While we can assist with hiring experts and automating administrative tasks, your expertise in California law is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

As a Partner Attorney, you will have the exclusive autonomy to:

1\. Accept and decline cases based on your professional judgment.

2\. Negotiate and settle cases on your terms.

3\. Hire and manage experts as needed.

4\. Develop case strategies without requiring approval from others.

This role combines the independence of a sole practitioner with the substantial support of a large firm, allowing you to focus on practicing law while we handle the administrative burdens.

  • Compensation
    $180,000-$240,000 per year
