    Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction and electrical infrastructure projects working directly with electric utilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles, electrical systems, and project management with proven experience interacting with and coordinating with electric utility companies. This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively navigating the complexities of utility coordination.

    Responsibilities:

    Project/Construction Management:

    Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout.

    Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines, incorporating utility coordination milestones.

    Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, including those related to utility interfaces.

    Implement effective mitigation strategies to address any challenges, particularly those involving utility companies.

    Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, in coordination with utility requirements.

    Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations

    Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and utility crews to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

    Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance at all times.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and inspection reports, with detailed records of utility interactions.

    Prepare progress reports and project status updates for management and clients, including information on utility coordination progress

    Experience working with electric utilities.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

    5+ years of experience in construction or electrical infrastructure projects, with demonstrable experience working directly with electric utility companies.

    Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.

    Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Monday.com, ClickUp, Bluebeam, etc.).

    Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Professional engineering license (PE).
